Not-so-little business update: I’ve moved!

Well, I never thought this would happen for real, but my family and I moved to the south!

We sold our house in the middle of the pandemic and quickly saw that it’s easy to sell, not so easy to buy. I lost count of the number of houses we set our hearts on only to have someone overbid thanks to the crazy market. We turned our search away from the Philadelphia area, took a chance and put an offer on our dream home. After several weeks of ups and downs we’re excited to announce that we are now officially residents of Mount Pleasant, SC!

Mount Pleasant is a beautiful town with fresh air, outdoor spaces and plenty of nature to enjoy about 30 minutes outside of Charleston. Our daughter loves our backyard and neighborhood with kids who are just her age. She started middle school last week and it was the first time she got to ride a bus to and from school – such a seemingly foreign idea coming from the city of Philadelphia.

I can’t wait to explore and discover this town as a photographer. There is so much to learn and try for the first time – meeting new people, creating relationships with clients and scouting out the best spots for shoots.

While I’m very sad that I will no longer be readily available to take photos in my home state, I’m very excited to be in such a beautiful area.

Philadelphia will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m committed to keeping in touch with that amazing community and I will always let our family, friends and repeat clients know when I’ll be in town again.

The pandemic changed everything for everyone and this was one aspect I could have never predicted, but I’m excited for what the future holds.

Here’s to new beginnings, change – the only thing that is constant – and making new friends but keeping the old!

With that said, I will need your help building a client base here in South Carolina! If you know anyone who might be interested in photography services in or around the Mount Pleasant area, please send them my way! I appreciate every one of you for supporting me in my photography journey this far, and I’ve loved working with my Pennsylvania clients.
