Event Photography: Leadership Meeting

I spent 3 days just outside of Phoenix Arizona photographing a global company’s annual leadership meeting. The meeting took place at the beautifully crafted adobe-and-timber luxury Wigwam Resort whose pathways were lined with the most amazing smelling gardenias and garden roses.

This year’s meeting theme was Driving Digital and featured inspirational presentations from members of the executive leadership team. Aside from guest speakers and a series of breakout sessions revolving around Driving Digital, guests also were able to participate in group activities for further collaboration and learning.

Before the event took place, guests were posed the question, “Are you mechanical? Or are your creative?” Only to find out later that the “mechanical people” were divided into groups for relay races and other fun team building events – including building bicycles for a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The other group, the “creative people”, were divided into teams for the most amusing performances of karaoke that I’ve ever witnessed! With songs like Uptown Funk and Sweet Caroline, it was a memorable evening to say the least!
